CAD & Documentation

Clarity beats perfection.
This space collects the CAD models, drawings, wiring diagrams, and test notes that turn ideas into buildable parts.
Early files may be rough; they’re shared to enable progress, review, and field learning.

Where are we now?

  • Concept models (Onshape) for front drive & rear layout

  • Preliminary wiring pinouts (LEMO + Hall/throttle)

  • Early BOM notes for essentials (fuse, contactor, display)

What’s next

  • Proper 2D drawings with hole patterns & tolerances

  • Verified wiring schematics (power + signal)

  • Exploded views & assembly order (front / rear / 3WD)

  • Change log (Rev A → Rev B)

Working rules

  • One source of truth: latest file wins; older stays archived

  • Name & version: HH-CC-####_PartName_RevA

  • Review tags: WIP, FIELD, RELEASE

  • Measure twice: critical holes list Ø, pitch, depth, tolerance

Note:
Blueprints and manuals will go live when field-tested and ready.

Documentation Tools

  • Standardised CAD templates

  • Sketch libraries for housings, drives, connectors

  • Predefined views (front, section, tolerance page)

  • Template for wiring diagrams + colour codes

  • BOM checklist for manufacturing readiness
